Update: 10/5/24- because the family has had to go into the funds now to pay for essentials, we increased the fundraiser by $2,000 to offset these expenses.
Money will be used to help the family evacuate once the border crossing reopens. Costs are $5,000 per adult for evacuation and $3,000 have been allocated for living expenses.
